Sad Demise of Professor Virgilio Manzano, President of Comparative Education Society of Philippines (CESP)

WCCES has been informed of the sad demise of Professor Virgilio Manzano, President of Comparative Education Society of Philippines (CESP) on June 15, 2024 after prolonged illness. We express our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and all our colleagues of CESP. In the below picture taken at the XVI World Congress of Comparative Education Societies 2016 held in Beijing (China), Professor Manzano can be seen standing third from right.

WCCES Journal & Chronicle are now indexed in

Global Comparative Education: Journal of the WCCES and World Voices Nexus: The WCCES Chronicle are now indexed in ProQuest (part of Clarivate). Both these peer-reviewed publications accept articles in the six official languages of the United Nations, viz. Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish. In fulfilling its commitment to open access publications, WCCES will continue to explore ways to make its publications more easily accessible to the comparative education research community worldwide.
